Life in the UK test questions on food and drink

Each nation has its traditional dishes: roast beef with Yorkshire pudding in England, haggis in Scotland, Welsh cakes in Wales and the Ulster fry in Northern Ireland. Pubs are usually open from 11am, and you must normally be 18 to buy alcohol. In some places 16 and 17-year-olds may drink beer, wine or cider with a meal if an adult is with them.

Below are 7 free questions on food and drink, taken from handbook section 4.13. Every one is written out in full with its answer and a plain-English explanation — no account, no sign-up and nothing hidden.
